Diverse search and filter options on the cards aid service engineers in quickly finding relevant data, offering a customizable and efficient data retrieval experience.
Warranty requests will be presented in a card view, each containing essential details about the associated claims. These cards will be distinguished by varying warranty statuses, providing service engineers with a clear and organized overview of all warranty requests. This differentiation streamlines the process, enabling service engineers to efficiently navigate through the cards and gain insights into the diverse warranty statuses. The card-based display ensures an accessible and comprehensive representation of warranty-related information for effective management.
Convert to Repair Request
The system provides a flexible option for service engineers to efficiently manage warranty claims. If, upon inspection, a product is deemed repairable rather than requiring a replacement, the service engineer can seamlessly convert the existing warranty claim into a repair request.
By converting a claim to a repair request, the system automatically updates the claim status and generates a new repair request number for tracking purposes. This ensures smooth transition between claim and repair processes, minimizing administrative overhead and improving overall efficiency.
Track Activity
Selecting the "See Details" button will direct users to the Track Activity page, where a comprehensive display of information related to the warranty claim, along with the activities performed, will be showcased. This feature serves as a valuable resource for service engineers, providing in-depth insights into the status and history of the warranty claim. By navigating through the Track Activity page, service engineers gain a nuanced understanding of the warranty process, facilitating informed decision-making. This functionality enhances the user experience by offering a detailed and transparent overview, ensuring service engineers have the necessary information to manage warranty claims effectively.
Step to access Track Activity page in Service Engineer
Step1: Go to Warranty Management from side menu
Step2: Click on manage warranty request
Step3: From the warranty cards click on any "See Details" button
Step4: Navigate to the "Track Activity" page.
