Expected Inward

The Expected Inward functionality allows team members to record the serial keys that are anticipated to be received at the company's warehouses from vendors. This feature helps team members anticipate incoming inventory, providing a clear picture of future stock levels. By logging these expected arrivals, the system enables better planning and resource allocation, ensuring that the warehouse is prepared to handle incoming stock. This functionality is essential for maintaining optimal inventory levels, preventing overstocking or stock outs, and improving overall inventory management efficiency.

Import Expected Inward

The Expected Inward functionality is facilitated through the bulk import feature in the system. Team members can efficiently add multiple serial keys at once, along with their respective mapped products. Additionally, they must specify which warehouse the inventory will be received at, the expected received date, and the vendor from whom the inventory is being sourced. This streamlined process ensures that all relevant details are captured accurately and promptly, allowing for better anticipation of incoming stock. By using the bulk import functionality, team members can easily prepare for incoming shipments, maintain accurate inventory records, and optimize warehouse operations.

Manage Expected Inward

The Manage Expected Inward feature provides a comprehensive view of all serial keys anticipated to be received at the warehouses from vendors, along with their expected receipt dates. It is organized into two tabs: "Expected" and "Overdue."

  • "Expected" Tab: This tab lists all serial keys that are scheduled for future receive. It provides an overview of the anticipated inventory, allowing users to prepare for the upcoming stock arrivals. Once the serial key is received it gets removed from this list.

  • "Overdue" Tab: This tab displays serial keys for which the expected received date has passed, but the items have not yet been received or inwarded at the warehouse. It helps users identify and address delays in inventory arrivals. In this tab, users also have the option to mark serial keys as "Not Received" if they are not expected to arrive at the warehouse at any point in the future, ensuring that inventory records remain accurate and up-to-date.
