Category
Categories serve as the primary-level identifiers for the products registered in the system.
This page makes it easy for users to add and manage different product categories. Each category acts as the main identifier for products, helping users find the most suitable one for their specific needs. To add a category, users just need to type the category name in a form and save it.
Note: Users can conveniently add categories in bulk through the import feature, offering an efficient and time-saving option within the system.
Once a category is added, users can conveniently view all existing categories on the same page in the "Manage Category" section. This section displays all categories along with actions that users can perform on each, making it simple to oversee and modify added product categories.
Search and filter
Users can effortlessly find relevant data with an easy search field based on category name, ensuring quick access to suitable information in the system.
List View
The list view showcases all system-added categories in one place, offering users a complete overview and providing action buttons for additional details about each product.
The available action buttons for categories include
Edit: Users can modify category details, such as the name, using the "Edit" button. This allows for easy updates and adjustments to suit changing requirements. Clicking the "Edit" button allows users to perform inline editing of the product name, facilitating easy updates without navigating away from the page.
View Products: The "View Products" button provides a comprehensive list of all items within the selected category, offering users quick access to view and manage products associated with that specific category.
